This is one of my all time favorite dressings. It probably shows up on here elsewhere and perhaps slightly modified as I took it with me everywhere I went as either a dressing or as an ingredient in other recipes. I'm not 100% sure of its origins, but I believe it was, or a version of it was, the house dressing at Allison's in New Hope, PA, around 1980. Anyway, I love this dressing. This recipe makes about 8 gallons of dressing.

Instructions
  1. Put all of the ingredients in a large mixer with a paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low for about 30 minutes.
  3. Scrape the sides of the bowl, and mix for about 10 more minutes.
  4. Store in air-tight containers and refrigerate. DO NOT FREEZE!!
